Yes, we have been open throughout and look forward to welcoming everybody back for Levels 2 and 1. Our opening hours have changed to 8am-8pm.
For us to open at level 2 we have put in the following changes -
Reception - Our hours will be 8am-8pm. Reception will be open but only 1 person allowed at a time (due to the size of our reception).
Kitchen - There will be NO dish cloths or tea towels, we are not allowed to have them so please ensure you bring your own. If you require any utensils or pots and pans, we can only issue 'packs' of these, we are not allowed to have the communal cupboard of these things open.
Toy box - This has to stay locked but other recreational items like ping pong bats and basketballs are allowed.
Cleaning - We want to ensure to all our guests that our cleaning will be thorough and every 2 hours, from door handles and light switches to playgrounds and BBQ's. There will be disinfectant and paper towels everywhere for you to wipe down surfaces and hand sanitiser.
If you are a Top 10 member you will get 10% off your accommodation.
Please see our promotions and offers page for the current offers.
We currently do not offer long term rates on our units but do for powered sites, give us a call or email for more details.
Reception is open 8am - 8pm and we can organise a late check in if you let us know. Check in for units is from 2pm and for all sites 12pm. Check out for all accommodation is 10am.
Unfortunately, we are not allowed to have dogs on the premises at all. We are part of the Domain, which is on Reserve land, it is the council's rule, not ours, that we are not allowed dogs in the park. If a dog is found in the property at all you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund given. If you arrive on the day of check-in with a dog, and can't find other arrangements for the dog our usual cancellation policy applies.
Our prices differ throughout the year, go to our book now page and type in the date you are looking to stay and it will show you the correct prices.
No, we have a range of accommodation to suit all needs and budgets, from our basic standard cabin with shared facilities all the way to our 2 bedroom motel units. Have a look on our accommodation page for more details.
We have plenty to do here in Geraldine and we are situated perfectly as a base to explore the South Island. We are based in the center of Geraldine and just a few minutes from the boutique high street with shops, bars and cafes, including the newly opened Barkers tasting room and cafe. Our heritage cinema and arts are unique to Geraldine. We have bush walks on our doorstep that are full of wildlife and bats. Over the summer there is a public swimming pool across the road. There are lots of mountain bike and walking tracks near by. We are only 1 hour from Tekapo, half an hour from the coast at Timaru and about 2 hours to Mount
Cook. We have very clear skys, being on the edge of the dark sky reserve.
So much to do and so much more! See our 24 hours in Geraldine page
